The dynamic
duo
Debi and Credi BooX, based on Elena and Max Emma, the husband-and-wife team who founded BooXkeeping in 2011 and still lead it today. Structure and softness. Tech and touch. Numbers and nurture.

Born from the books
nobody kept
Elena and Max Emma know exactly what happens when a business ignores its financials, because it happened to them. Running their landscape construction company, they were too busy growing to watch the numbers. They never saw the recession coming. When it hit, there was no choice left: bankruptcy, business and personal.
They rebuilt. Their next business succeeded. They eventually sold it. But while running it, they went shopping for a bookkeeper and got 20 quotes for exactly the same scope of work: from $200 to $2,000. A 10× spread for the same job. They both knew that was wrong, and that the fix was a company with honest, transparent pricing and a real process.
BooXkeeping started in 2011, in their toddler's former nursery, after he moved in with his brother to free up the room. The first two employees shared tables in it for two years. Then a real office. A few years in, franchise clients arrived, and everything clicked: franchising is a world of brand standards, deadlines and multi-unit complexity: exactly what disciplined bookkeeping is built for. Today BooXkeeping is the preferred bookkeeping provider for over a hundred franchise brands.
And the last chapter wrote itself: wanting to take the firm nationwide, surrounded by franchises every day, Elena and Max franchised BooXkeeping itself, making it the #1 bookkeeping franchise in the United States.

Money is emotional.
Debi gets that.
Debi believes bookkeeping should be done with care, kindness and a human touch. Laptop always open, vibe always grounded. She's the one reminding clients and the team that no numbers define them, and that balance and growth are as personal as they are financial.
"Money is a relationship. Let's make it a healthy one."
Beautiful systems,
built for real people.
Credi is all about structure, clarity and expansion. He believes in spreadsheets, networking and logic, and he's proud to make bookkeeping feel simple, elegant, even fun. Obsessed with optimization, but never forgets the human behind the numbers.
"Cool is the new accurate."

The yin and yang
of the BooXverse
Structure and softness. Tech and touch. Numbers and nurture. Debi and Credi represent the future of service businesses: human-centered, emotionally intelligent, and proudly professional without being boring.
Elena and Max founded the #CoolBeanCounters movement, a community where bookkeeping is a lifestyle, not just a service. Like-minded franchisees are invited to build with them.
